Specialist for IT accessibility
Papenmeier Consulting is the fourth and newest division of F.H. Papenmeier GmbH & Co. KG. The Consulting division emerged from Papenmeier RehaTechnik in February 2016 and specializes in the complex topic of IT accessibility.
We draw on over 30 years of experience at Papenmeier RehaTechnik, which is active in the field of workplace design for people with disabilities. Over the years, we have been able to build up in-depth specialist knowledge in the company through software adaptations and expert opinions, which is unique on the market. This is one of the reasons why the name Papenmeier enjoys an excellent reputation among large authorities, companies and software manufacturers.
The new department will focus more on IT accessibility and actively promote inclusion.
Cooperations
“Together we are stronger”. – True to this motto, we maintain close cooperation with the Project area for barrier-free information and rehabilitation technology of the TransMIT GmbH, which is headed by Prof. Dr. Meyer zu Bexten, Dipl. Med.Inf. David Smida and B.Sc. Andreas Deitmer.
TransMIT is a technology transfer company of the universities in Central Hessen. The aim of TransMIT is to market product innovations and research services from its partner universities and other research institutions.
Our cooperation partner, the project area for barrier-free information and rehabilitation technology, is primarily concerned with the assessment and creation of barrier-free websites, documents and Braille graphics.
The cooperation is accompanied by an intensive exchange of knowledge, which benefits our customers in no small way. We also work together as cooperation partners on a wide range of projects and want to actively shape the future together.

The company’s history, rich in tradition, dates back to 1956. Since then, the engineering office founded by electrical engineer Friedrich Horst Papenmeier has enjoyed impressive success in the field of applied electrical engineering.
