UN Disability Convention

The Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities was adopted by the General Assembly in 2006 and aims to ensure equal rights for people with disabilities.

The UN agreement is an important step in counteracting the world's unfair injustice to those with disabilities. In Germany, the agreement came into force in 2009 and should help to further promote inclusion in one's own country.

The Convention strengthens universal human rights and thus promotes equal participation in social life without discrimination. In addition, the individual independence and independence should be increased. Of course, this also includes unrestricted access to information. To ensure this, IT accessibility is essential.
